About us

Remittances built on trust, not hope.

We are a small team on a mission to change how families support each other across borders - starting with the Jamaica corridor, and the belief that money sent home should arrive with purpose.

Our mission

Every dollar sent home should carry intent - and land exactly where it is meant to.

Billions of dollars flow to families in Jamaica every year, yet senders lose sight of that money the moment it leaves their hands. Cash gets diverted, fees stay hidden, and support that was meant for groceries or medicine does not always get there.

Mango Errands rebuilds the remittance around purpose. Senders choose how their money can be spent, receivers use it instantly at trusted local shops, and vendors get paid securely - with a clear trail from start to finish.

What we stand for

The principles behind the product

Three commitments shape every decision we make, from the smallest UI detail to the vendors we onboard.

Trust by design

ID-verified collection, Stripe-secured payments, and a visible trail on every transfer.

Purpose over guesswork

Support should reflect intent, not disappear into a cash handoff.

Local businesses first

Every transaction keeps money circulating in Jamaican communities.

Our story

From a family problem to a product

Mango Errands started with a simple frustration - and grew into a platform ready to launch.

The frustration

Our founders kept sending money home and hoping it reached the right hands.

Common questions

The details, answered

Funds stay safely in the receiver wallet until they are used. Nothing expires without notice, and senders can always see the current balance and status of every transfer.
